My path,

Having grown up in Toronto I attended the University of Toronto for 3 years of a Biology Specialist undergraduate degree and then completed my Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry, graduating in 2020. After 4 years of practicing general dentistry in Oakville, Ontario I’ve been fortunate enough to be accepted in a 3 year Master of Science in Craniofacial Science and Diploma in Endodontics (Msc/Dip. Endodontics), starting in the Fall of 2024.

I have a passion for art, helping others, research, dentistry, nature, and learning and I strive to provide the absolute best care for my patients in an extremely calm, comfortable environment. I am advocate for providing literature-based care and in doing so I’ve made a commitment to stay up to date with the current dental literature, having published several articles myself throughout my career.

As a lifelong learner I have also dedicated my time to constantly improving my skillset. Through rigorous continuing education courses I have become certified to provide Invisalign and implant therapy for my patients to help reshape their smile, function, and confidence. Dentistry is continuously evolving and as such it’s important to continuously learn new technology and techniques in order to continue providing top-tier care.

Outside my work I can be found exploring nature, skiing, playing guitar, mountain biking, improving my photography portfolio, playing hockey, or out on the course for a round of golf.

This website exists today to serve as a small window into my life; my experiences throughout post-doctorate training, cases, research interests, educational projects, and photography.

Best Regards,

Dr. Peter Chaban
